Overview

Banker Dearing Gallery, located on historic Artists' Row in downtown Augusta, showcases the works of partners Karen Banker, fine artist, and Juliet Dearing, potter. The gallery is a working studio for the partners as well as exhibit space. Banker's work in watercolor and collage covers a wide range of subject matter including her latest wine label collages. Dearing's pottery is decorative and useful with a wide spectrum of glazes and designs and features her whimsical painted pieces. Pottery lessons are available and both artists accept commissions.

The gallery also presents Matthew Whitford's sensitive charcoal drawings mainly of figures and nudes and the bright acrylic paintings of animals by Robert Marinich.

Other gallery artists include Gina Hammock, hand crafted jewelry, Allen Evans, woodturning and Carolyn Benning, handpainted animal rocks.
