Dedicated to the Life of Jimmie Dyess
The symposium was created and developed to recognize this native Augustan's courage both as a citizen and a soldier of the United States and to identify others who have shown similar valor or made civic contributions above and beyond the call of duty.
Three individuals will receive the Symposium's Distinguished American Award; Tom Kelley, Lou Brissie, and Carl Sanders
