Description:
Head downtown to the Morris Museum of Art for the screening of the 1944 classic film - Hail the Conquering Hero. Considered by critics to be Preston Sturges’s best film, this satirical comedy/drama, starring Eddie Bracken, Ella Raines, and William Demarest was nominated for a 1944 Academy Award for best original screenplay. After viewing the film, museum director Kevin Grogan leads a discussion. Participants are invited to bring a lunch.
