Description:
Head downtown to the Imperial Theatre and enjoy the cult classic, "Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb." This satirical film, set during the cold war, follows the actions of a deranged general who attempts to start a nuclear holocaust and the reactions of the President, his advisors and the Joint Chiefs of Staff as they try to avert the crisis. It also follows the moral crisis of the B-52 bomber crew sent out to deliver their nuclear payload.
After the screening, join in a panel discussion about the film and the impact it had on science and culture.
