Anti-Freez Beer Can & Breweriana Show

The Atlantic Chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America is hosting the Annual Anti-Freez Beer Can & Breweriana Show. Collectors from all over the Southeastern US will be attending.  The show will feature vintage beer cans including flat tops (those requiring a can opener) and cone tops from the 1930s to the 1950s.  Newer cans from the 1960s through the present will be available as well.  In addition to beer cans, there will be vintage bottles, some dating back to before Prohibition (“pre-pro”), and signs including neons. Locally, there may some examples from Augusta Brewing, which closed for Prohibition and never reopened. Another now-defunct regional brewer of interest was the Atlantic Brewing Company of Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, and a few other locations.  Atlantic breweriana is always of interest since the brewery went out of business in the 1950s. Locals are welcome to bring beer collectables to be assessed for free.
