Spend your Memorial Day weekend enjoying the best barbeque, craft beer and bluegrass around! A Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event will pit cookers from across the country in a competition for $40,000 in prize money. Friday night will again feature the popular “for bragging rights” steak cook-off competition as well as a fun Kids Cook-Off. And don't miss the "Great American BBQ Tour" featuring Mike and Christine Peters who will be giving out promotional products, coupons, and product information to Banjo-B-Que attendees while cooking up an unforgettable BBQ experience that includes grilling tips, demonstrations and product samples.

Kids will love the pig races, petting zoo and fun playground.

Fun starts at 5 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday .
