Description:
The Venice Baroque Orchestra is recognized as one of Europe ’s premier ensembles devoted to the performance of music on period instruments. The Orchestra has received wide critical acclaim for its concert and opera performances throughout North America , Europe , South America , and Japan . A “chamber orchestra” of just 18 players, they specialize in the performance of well-known eighteenth-century masterpieces such as Vivaldi’s Seasons, as well as bringing lesser-known, but still beautiful, repertory to their audiences. They succeed admirably in bringing new life to music composed for another time.
