Description:
Comfortable in jazz and pops styles as well as the classical idiom, the members of the Millennium Brass display a rare versatility in their playing. The first appearance of the Millennium Brass on the Harry Jacobs Series coincided with the big February snowstorm in 2010. Only a handful of hardy souls braved the elements to hear a magnificent concert that night. Barring a weather disaster in April, HJCMS audience will be able to experience the brilliant virtuosity, dynamic programming, and unmatched musical excitement that marks all performances of the Millennium Brass—truly the ensemble for the new century.
