The American Kidney Fund created Kidney Action Days as a way to educate communities around the country about the risk factors and dangers of kidney disease. As many as 31 million Americans have kidney disease and most don’t know it. This event, which is free and open to the entire community, will provide kidney health screenings along with health education, cooking demonstrations and fun family activities. Kidney disease is a silent, progressive condition, so please join us help raise awareness and take charge of your health!
A Free medical screening will be provided to those ages 18 and up. An 8-hour fast is recommended before testing to ensure the most accurate results. www.kidneyfund.org/get-tested
