Description:
The onset of fall in Augusta brings much excitement as peopleawait the event that kicks off Augusta’s arts season: the Arts in the Heart ofAugusta Festival. Each year, a juried show of fine arts and crafts isshowcased, while ethnic groups from all over Augusta tempt festival goers withscrumptious and authentically prepared regional cuisines. Over 100 artisans, 15ethnic groups, and hundreds of performers lend their talents to the festival.Included are wood workers, glass smiths, jewelry makers, dancers, singers,poets, painters and a great lot more! Additionally, there is a beer gardenfeaturing craft beers and a free, hands-on area for kids.
